The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
